Have you ever heard of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints? Or more commonly known as Mormons? Well I have because I am one, if you have heard of us you have most likely heard a rumor surrounding the way we run things. The LDS Church is the fourth largest church in Christian Denomination in the U.S. as of 2014. I’ve heard more than a few very wrong rumors around the church, one of them being that if you do not talk to our missionaries they will hurt you in some way or another. That is definitely not true and if you choose not to talk to them then that is okay it is totally your choice. So get ready and strap in your seatbelts for another one of your favorite articles of, “Church Busters.” The first category I want to get out o they way is what we believe in which is what makes a religion a religion. Our church was restored by this guy named Joseph Smith he was struggling to find a church he believed in and so he went into a forest and prayed. During that prayer two angels revealed themselves to him and told him that it was God’s will that he started his own church and so he did. He had a lot of doubters but that just led to his success.
