I find Charles Lewis to have a valid point by saying that this country is in fact very militant. The reason why I think he says we don 't want to associate ourselves with wanting to be militant is because of all of the horrible things that can happen during war. When watching why do we fight every president has always gone into another country and tried to do it so that it was as if they did something to up hold America 's freedom. America likes to police the world and most Americans agree with it, this makes them feel safe. very obvious that C.S Lewis did get his urges to write out; we have proof of his extraordinary talent in every single one of his books. Throughout Lewis’ entire life, he was always an influence to somebody. He went through hard patches in life just like every other ordinary person, but let’s just say Lewis is not just an ordinary person. Through his books, he has shared God’s love & sovereignty to the whole world. After all, some of his books have been published in over fifty languages (Ebscohost).
