Of Mice and Men is a short novel written by John Steinbeck that follows the story of two men names Lennie and George. Lennie is described by Steinbeck as a bulky, strong man who is mentally disabled and George is a small and quick man who is intelligent but uneducated. The story is about the two working in a farm in Soledad with the hope to get a bit of land with animals on it, especially rabbits that Lennie constantly talks about throughout the book. Lennie loves touching soft things which becomes clear as he gets himself in trouble for touching things he shouldn’t throughout the book.
