It was about midnight, Tango was pushing his limits, galloping full speed. We’d been at this for about a hour. My muscles ached from repetitively slamming against the warm saddle, my posture was slipping, hell, I could barely keep my heels down anymore. I cursed under my breath when we came up to a fence, but luckily, I knew this city like the back of my hand. I took a sharp left and Tango sped up. I noticed a small presence behind me, but ignored it. I had to stay focused or I would throw off not only Tango but myself. The man, Melville Lennie came into view again. He had jumped a fence and was headed toward a dead end. I don’t know why he was opposed to us protecting him. I counted the steps before the jump. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 now! Tango flew over the fence, and that was it. We had caught him. The night’s chill cut through my vest and chilled me. Tango took a step forward. It was hot, I frowned, wiped my eyes and sat up. I found myself swiftly and angrily putting my guitar back, but at the same time being gentle with it, like a poor man might handle thousands and thousands of gold bars. Because that's what it was to me. I eyed my sleeping pills again, but instead I turned sharp on my heel and walked into my bedroom. I packed a bag with my essentials in case I ended up sleeping at the station, I gently put my contact case in, my glasses and more recklessly my anxiety pills. I pulled out I opened the top left door of my faded mahogany dresser and pulled out a pair of grey and black breeches. After I had changed into them, I grabbed my horse vest, and my muted brown chaps. I rushed to the door, putting my black, tall riding boots on and I headed to the car immediately.
