Leonardo da Vinci was the most influential Renaissance artist because he used scientific observations in art by studying human anatomy, observing nature, and using realism in his pieces. By bringing science into the art world, da Vinci made progress in observations and inventions that would be and become relevant to modern day. Da Vinci was known as a “Renaissance man” (an man and artist with many curiosities). Not only did he study art, but he wanted to learn more about technology, nature and anatomy.
