“The Last Supper” or you can call it the spiritual painting. This painting is about Christ and the 12 Apostles. In this paper I will be explaining "The Last Supper," by Leonardo Da Vinci. I chose Da Vinci's The Last Supper because it is a work of art that I am in love with. I've seen copies of it before, and it is very popular. You can ask several people about it, and almost everyone has heard of it and is knows what it looks like. It is much loved, and is an extremely well known piece of art. In fact, it is one of the most popular portrait and meaningful paintings of all time. Other than seeing the painting over and over and in many different ways, I still was not familiar with the history of the painting. I did not know exactly at what time it was painted, where it was painted, what type of painting it is, and why Leonardo decided to paint it. I thought it would be nice to write about this paper to learning more about it while doing so.

Da Vinci sketched the first pictures of Jesus and the 12 disciples during the last supper with a blurred background. He used warm colors that appealed to your senses to produce the blurry appearance in the background. Although The Last Supper has been ruined to the point of being unrecognizable, many people have worked very hard to make sure that it will stay in good condition for upcoming generations to see. Da Vinci was a very accomplished artist, and it is shown through his works like The Last Supper. Even to this day, his painting "The Last Supper" is known around the world and visited by many tourists each year. If you ever get a chance to go see this marvelous painting, do it.
