On October 18th, a teen in Meridian, Idaho shot and killed a 15-year-old, but police say the the shooting was an accident. 18-year-old David Provencio was smoking marijuana and consuming alchohol with many others in a home close to East Franklin Road. Provencio said that he pointed the gun and shot the victim, not knowing that the gun was loaded. And the kid who was shot was pronounced dead at the hospital. When the authorities arrived at the scene they were told that the kid shot himself while there were several children and a few adults there at the time of the shooting.
Since Richard was only sixteen years when the incident occurred. At this age, adolescents are still developing their cognitive and emotional skills, and charging them as adults may not be appropriate. The justice system should take into account their age and consider the possibility of rehabilitation, rather than punitive measures. Furthermore, Richard had no previous incidents this severe, and it would be unfair to judge him based on one mistake he made as a teenager. Slater further informs us about how when you are young your brain is still developing and during that time your body is
The shock of his knuckles against the kid's mouth, and that sound of it, made Marty want to hit him again. he put his head down and began swinging wildly, hitting the new kid without any aim on the head and shoulders and arms" (Heyert 7), which shows that Marty is reckless with his actions.
In other words, once Perry got angry he could not control his actions, and acted impulsively by grabbing his fathers throat. According to The National Child Traumatic Stress Network’s article on the Impact of Complex Trauma “ A child who feels powerless or who grew up fearing an abusive authority figure may react defensively and aggressively in response to perceived blame or attack…” (). Once Perry’s father snatched the biscuit out of his hand he responded aggressively because he felt attacked by his fathers action, thus causing him to act irrationally and impulsively by choking his father. On pages 43 and 44 Willie-Jay says to Perry, “ You are strong, but there is a flaw in your strength, and unless you learnt o control it the flaw will prove stronger than your strength and defeat you. The flaw?
This theme was revealed through an epiphany and shows just how feeble a young mind is. This realization shows to be an important part in the story and why an adult mind takes time to sculpt
He threw a wine bottle at his ex-fiancé direction. He threw that wine bottle because she was trying to break up with home and he got mad. Suppose that he has anger issues. How many of you will try to hurt somebody if they tried breaking up with you? I know I would not.
instance “[...Chay was being pinned against lockers,] Franklin Smith punched him in the stomach [as well] pressed his forearm against [Chay] until he fell unconscious” (78-79). Those have been the few of the “incidents” that keep going on including the red spray painted textbook that Chay payed for. In our case Mr. Matthew’s clearly has intent because after making contact with Mr. Russo he said “that’s what you get for screwing with me”. The disputed issue is whether Mr. Russo suffered from physical injury due to Mr. Matthew punching him in the face. There would not be substantial pain in this situation because it was nothing more than a petty slap, and Mr. Matthew’s motivated to
Children are still learning and making mistakes every single day. They are in a transition to adulthood but they are not yet adults. Frequently, in juvenile cases it seems as though the prosecutors want to throw the child into an adult world just because they made one adult mistake. Since children are being forced into the adult world, they can be mistreated simply because a child is defenseless and vulnerable. Charlie illustrated this fact to a great extent when he is too terrified to talk to even Bryan, but eventually Bryan got through to Charlie, “‘There were three men who hurt me on the first night.
Question#1 Some people might think that abandoned, “ghetto” sites have become useless, uninspiring, invaluable and should be demolished to create a building in which people could inhabit or use with a purpose. Although, that is not always the situation, some places could be transformed into a building that is advantageous to all. To support this, it clearly states in Source#2 that “Through government partnerships, public art can also transform dull or run-down public spaces and inspire the people who live and work there. We believe that art is educational and belongs to all people.
The Sodastream video failed because it was predictable, it overtly endorsed the brand, and was ineffective in its critique of the way most videos go viral. It was also ineffective in advertising the brand as an underdog when calling out the big names (Coke and Pepsi). The easiest way to analyse the pitfalls of this ad is to compare it against a similar product competing in the same channel with a comparable ad but an entirely different level of success: Smartwater. First of all, Smartwater was sly in endorsing their brand and creative in the way they critiqued what is popular and trending in the realm of viral marketing.

Effective Altruism is against artwork the resources, and time it uses up that do not contribute to the poor.
Even children have the capability to act and think the way as an adult would. Juveniles need to be held accountable for their actions because it was their actions that caused for them to be put in such a situation. 13 year old Derek King and his 12 year old brother, Alex, were being charged of bludgeoning their father, Terry King, to death. In the book, “Angels of Death,” by Gary C. King stated, “I hit him once and then I heard him moan and then I was afraid that he might wake up and see us, so I just kept on hitting him... I threw the bat on the bed, lit the bed on fire because I was scared of the [evidence] and everything.
