Many people wrote music that included lyrics about controversial protests that were going on and their music was played at social gatherings that they would have in their community. The U.S government also sent jazz groups to Africa Asia and Middle Eastern countries to help other cultures identify with the American way of life. Many of the African American people could identify with jazz music because it talked about racial issues that lots of different races especially African Americans.
