The person that I interviewed was Autumn Tomas. She is the Director of Head start/Early Head Start. Her role/responsibility as the director is the day-to-day management and oversight of the Head Start/ Early Head Start Program for Episcopal Children Services. I interviewed her at her office on July 27th 2016 and our interview lasted about 45minutes.
Although it is not our job to interrogate a child, depending upon the relationship you may have, inquiring can provide more information about the matter. Over the last few years, I have come to get to know my interviewee. She is a really good friend of mine, and her name is Maddie Anderton. I have learned a lot about her over the years and where she came from. She moved here from Alabama in 2005. I chose to interview her, because she is always talking about Alabama and how much she wishes she could go back.

According to the code, “our paramount responsibility is to provide care and education in settings that are safe, healthy, nurturing and responsive for each child. We are committed to supporting children’s development and learning; respecting individual differences; and helping children learn to live, play, and work cooperatively. Introduction: On October 3rd, at approximately 11:30 p.m., I had the opportunity to interview one of my neighbors whom I will call Alex, in order to keep anonymity. Now, I only have known Alex since the beginning of the year. What I initially learned about her was that her parents immigrated to the United States from Bulgaria; she lived in the United States, specifically Texas, until she was ten years old. Then her family immigrated to England, where they have been living for the last eleven years. For this reason, I concluded that she would be an interesting interviewee when asked about one’s linguistic identity.

The person I interviewed is the campus Diversity Recruiter Candace Villanueva. She loves working in higher education. I enjoy helping students reach their academics and life goals. Her passion is working with gifted students. She is capable of sharing her achieve strength with these students by pushing them further.
On Monday November 14, I asked a parent at a childcare center would they mind having a thirty-minute interview with Ms. Key, concerning their child’s education and parent teacher partnership. A language sample analysis (LSA) is a tool that generates the coding and transcriptions of a language sample to document the language used every day in various speaking situations (Miller, Andriacchi, & Nockerts, 2016). Language samples are typically 50-100 words in length and are voice-recorded and then transcribed by the clinician. Language samples are done using spontaneous speech, such as typical conversation, or narrative contexts, such as story or event recalls (Miller, Andriacchi, & Nockerts, 2016). The speech-language pathologist (SLP) will take the recording and write out, in the exact words of the child and clinician, every utterance (Bowen, 2011). The SLP will then "code" the sample.
During this developmental interview, I chose to conduct an observation/interview study with my one of my cousin’s child. This child is a 4 year old girl and will be identified as “child K” in relation to her first name. Her parents had no problem letting me interview her, but I had them stay in the same room as us. The purpose of this interview was to observe the child’s physical, cognitive, and socioemotional development. I observed her behavior and gave her several tests to show how well she has progressed.
Her communication skills helped empower me with confidence needed to execute my task. If she not for her walking me calmly through that procedure I would have missed out on my education. I was lucky enough to do that task two more times and felt comfortable while executing that task. Conclusion
Social work interviews are purposeful conversations between practitioners and clients designed to facilitate cooperative working relationships by focusing on needs, wants, problems, resources, and solutions. They include attention to both verbal and nonverbal expression (listening, responding, body positioning, facial expressions, and gestures). Skills utilized are also influenced by setting and purpose. Language is an abstract concept which needed by people to communicate. Language has an intrinsic meaning which represents an image and it is also symbolic however not only symbolic. Language is also a complex system and it is creative and productive meaning that you can product many words. Language does not only include objects but also includes all the images and concepts of the world. There is an abstraction of a real world.
