The podcast The ‘Rhino’ Hunter, portrays the usage of ethos, pathos, and logos with unique persuasive devices ranging from the devices that align for certain appeals to others. Ethos, the appeal to authority and credibility is very crucial for The ‘Rhino’ Hunter. One of the reasons is because of the connection it has with aphorisms. While Simon and the Team Leaders are on their trip to Namibia, they flag down an endangered species of rhino and kill it. An example of an aphorism that occurs as this is happening is how they refer to the rhino as ‘the black rhino’ which expresses the situation of these hunters going to Namibia and killing the rhino.
In Semantic combinations in primate calls, Kate Arnold1 & Klaus Zuberbühler show that in some cases vocalizations are even combined to form a new signal, and these vocalizations vary depending on the external stimulus. It is clear that primates have a certain ability to understand each other’s calls. Caesar's howl sounds different enough from other noises he makes in the movie, suggesting the director wanted this particular noise to exist as the “I am in danger” noise, just as real-world primates may make a different sound when in immediate danger. Shortly after making this call, Caesar's friend and advisor, Koba, runs over along with some other apes. Koba jumps off of a ledge wielding a spear-like branch, and plants it deep into the bear.
The audience of horror Fear, confusion and doubts are constant feelings that the episode “White Bear” provokes on the audience. In other words, the author uses strong pathos, logos and ethos techniques through extreme suspense scenes, remarkable facial expressions. The episode’s plot is very perplexing, and does not presents an explainable end. Because of this, is easy noticed the lack of logos until the last scenes.
e all are Human. We make mistakes and do things we don 't mean but we all aren 't the same, We don 't necessarily need to be like others. You should just focus on who we are & not someone who we aren’t and we shouldn 't let people 's opinions get to us and change us as a person.
The short story “Pride of Seven” by Robert W. Krepps demonstrates many similarities and differences between En-gerr, a man who must kill a lion, and El Asfar, a lion chief. To begin with, one of the similarities between the two includes their ability to be able to back away from a battle they know they don’t have to fight. En-gerr showed his endowment gift of truism when he called truce with the lion he endured to kill, El Asfar. It was down by the foothills where seven fearless lions roamed the land, and En-gerr stood proudly in front of the beast when he said, “It is peace, chieftain….You are my first lion, and it is peace between us.
“The Scarlet Ibis” “It was in the clove of seasons, summer was dead but autumn had not yet been born, that ibis lit in the bleeding tree” (Hurst 350). James Hurts creates a depressing tone, or attitude, by using figurative language, symbolism, and imagery. This sad story is about a child who is born with a deficiency and expected to die however, lives. His brother soon realizes that Doodle is not like the other kids so he pushes him to be like the others, which actually hurts him more. Figurative Language helps show the gloomy tone throughout the story from the first paragraph onwards.

Though this book only contains transformative myths, it is a large portion of the interest area I have in this topic regarding wolves, and therefore immediately relevant. The book however, extends far beyond the area of my interest including stories about bears, snakes, and other animals revered by Native

Wolves, when in groups, are universally threatening and recurrently feared. This being known, they are often portrayed as an evil or opposing force. Although, on occasion, they have also been known to be referred to as “noble creatures who can teach us many things.” (http://www.wolfcountry.net/) But consequently, despite the popular interpretation of wolves and their characteristics, each story presents its own interpretation of their many characteristics.
Craig isn 't sure he wants to work with a wolf shifter. He scored well enough on the tests that his precinct is sending him through the program, whatever he thinks about it . . . unless he can manage to flunk out. But the program proves to be both more interesting and more harrowing than he expected.
Vocal communication happens to form an important part of the Howler Monkey’s social behavior life. They usually howl during the mornings and evenings to assure their surrounding neighbors of their presence. They sound more like whooping bark or roar that could be heard over considerable distances. They also continue to howl when they feel like they are in danger. Based on their howl sound throughout the whole day, they are believed to be the loudest of all land animals.
