The podcast The ‘Rhino’ Hunter, portrays the usage of ethos, pathos, and logos with unique persuasive devices ranging from the devices that align for certain appeals to others. Ethos, the appeal to authority and credibility is very crucial for The ‘Rhino’ Hunter. One of the reasons is because of the connection it has with aphorisms. While Simon and the Team Leaders are on their trip to Namibia, they flag down an endangered species of rhino and kill it. An example of an aphorism that occurs as this is happening is how they refer to the rhino as ‘the black rhino’ which expresses the situation of these hunters going to Namibia and killing the rhino. Another reason is because of the connection it has with anecdotes.
