In Frankenstein, Mary Shelley shows the loneliness of the monster and Victor Frankenstein on how life has treated both of them. Mary Shelley goes through the life of the poor monster who didn't ask to be made. The mistakes the monster made from building up so much anger from being alone. From being made to being seen as a ugly creator to running away to killing the people related to the creator of the monster. Victor Frankenstein was somewhat similar to the monster but chose to block out the world. Victor Frakenstein had a hard life from the start. Many deaths he couldn't handle all so close together. He wanted to see if he could bring animals back to life and maybe humans, too. “One of the phenomena which had peculiarly attracted my attention was the structure of the human frame, and, indeed, any animal endued with life.” (Chapter 5) Victor wanted to test himself with this theory to see if he could make something dead come back alive. During his time, Victor chose to isolate himself from the world and loved ones. “And the same feelings which made me neglect the scenes around me caused me also to forget those friends who were so many miles absent, and whom I had not seen for so long a time. I knew my silence disquieted them.”(Chapter 4) This made Victore feel so alone and feeling like no one needed him or he didn't need anyone. The Monster wanted revenge on Victor for making him like this and for not helping him. “Of my creation and creator I was absolutely ignorant, but I knew that I possessed no money, no friends, no kind of property. I was, besides, endued with a figure hideously deformed and loathsome; I was not even of the same nature as man.” (Chapter 13) The Monster wanted to make a deal with Victor. He wouldn't kill his family anymore and would run away with the girl monster and never bother anyone anymore, if he made the Monster a girl version of him. Victor was hesitant about this deal. He agreed and started to make the monster but during the time he was making the girl Monster he was disguised and stopped and destroyed everything of the monster. The Monster grew angry and went on a killing spree
