Many people over the time of humanity have had various opinions on the nature of human life. Some believe humans are naturally cruel, greedy and selfish. One thinks the human race craves violence. On the other hand, some believe that humans are naturally kind, giving and compassionate. While the true nature has not yet been found, many turn to literature, movies, and other forms of propaganda to share their ideas to the world. William Golding is an example of an author who did just that. In his novel “Lord of the Flies,” Golding tells the story of a group of boys who land on a deserted island following a plane crash. With no order, the boys must encounter a new lifestyle to have any chance of returning home. In “Lord of Flies,” Golding expresses the idea that humans are inherently evil by showing a shift to civilized society to a society of chaos and savagery. Perhaps not” (140). Now, things are getting really out of control. Jack is now full savage, and reeling in other kids to join his hunter’s tribe. He bribes them with fresh meat, fun, and other delicacies on the island. However, he refuses to let in the lilluns or Piggy. He does not feel the need for anyone who will not provide any use to him.
