The Lord of the Flies by William Golding is a classic, a hard one to set in a genre as well, some might say it is a thriller/adventure book others may say it is a fiction/horror story but whatever the definition, it is definitely an awe-inspiring novel. The story starts off with a fair haired boy walking towards a lagoon in what later is discovered to be an uncharted island. The boy, Ralph finds himself amongst other boys stranded on this piece of land without the presence of adults, after a plane crash left them there. The story then evolves to how these children with ages anywhere from 7 to 14 years old, begin to establish in this new, strange place where they establish rules, a camp and different teams, with the ultimate objective of keeping
