Girls are so much more mature than boys. Imagine if in the story, Lord of the Flies, there were only girl characters. Lord of the Flies is a book about a group of kids who were stranded on an island from a plane crash, and were left to try to survive by themselves . The novel takes place on an uninhabited island in the Pacific Ocean. The book starts off by Ralph and Piggy discovering a conch shell and Ralph becoming the leader because he is in control of the conch. Tensions begin to arise as Jack, the hunter, has different views on how to survive on the island then Ralph does. Jack gains momentum to be leader as most of the other boys on the island want to hunt. Jack creates his own tribe with the littleluns and Ralph and Piggy are in the other …show more content…
Girls tend to mature faster than boys do, and this would lead the girls to a more successful civilization than the boys. The boys in the book were crazy because Simon was murdered and the boys managed to lose a kid early on in the novel, as referenced in the following quote, “Young Simon was murdered. And there was that other kid what had a mark on his face. Who’s seen him since we first come here?” (Golding, 1954, pg. 246). The new story would be diverse from the original story because the girls would be more mature than the boys and wouldn’t kill each other immediately, leading to living longer on the island. The girls would be way more organized and orderly than the boys. They would have rules and all the girls would follow them. The girls would also have a harder time finding food. They would spend the majority of their time planning for a way to get off the island rather than hunting for food. Lord of the Flies would be different with girls as the cast of the book because they mature faster than boys, and there would be less savagery and killings. The new story with girls would show a different perspective on how boys and girls think and act. I think it would be very interesting if a girl version of the book came out and try to give the females of the world more recognition and
