Jack is one of the characters in the novel. He looked he was a good kid till he recognized the hardship of life on the island. He wanted to become a leader of the group just like a commander in the army with no mercy. He is even like a dictator and a killer. He wants to make rules, and wants others to obey his rules that he does not want to obey. In reality, he is not a guilty one because life puts him in that play as a star, but a bad one. But, in reality, he is just a simple boy who does things wrong and selfishly. He also thinks that his bravery puts him in the first place because Jack takes the advantage of Ralph and the group’s fear about the beast and becomes a leader. Before becoming a leader, he looks down on Ralph and gossips about him to put Ralph down as below: Jack turned to the hunters. “He’s not a hunter. He’d never have gotten us meat. He isn’t a prefect and we don’t know anything about him. He just gives orders and expects people to obey for nothing. (Lord of Flies, 1954, 181-82) When the chapters and pages of the novel, Lord of Flies, flow like water, Jack’s psychology begins to change because he thinks bad and negative, and so he begins to suspect on others. So, he gets scared of any plots against him. He begins to become a combatant and aggressive one, too. All his misbehavior depends on his greediness, selfishness and being a naïve child. For example, Jack fights Ralph as
