Paul Revere didn 't make his famous midnight ride alone. Meet a patriot unlike any other, the mare who doesn 't mind that she was once the fastest and most admired horse in the King 's army. But on arrival in America, "Sherry" is quickly let down by her British rider and recruited by Sam Adams to join the Sons of Liberty. Before long, she finds herself teamed with Paul Revere to play a key if unnoticed role in the American
Louis riel, Canada’s famous politician, the founder of Manitoba, the leader of the Metis. However, he was punished and put to death after leading the North West Rebellion with the charge of traitor. Though some might think he is a traitor, disturbed the society. But some like me think he is a hero, who claimed legal rights for the metis.
But the question is, was Louis Riel really a villain? Executing a man named Thomas Scott, going against the Canadian government, becoming the leader of 2 rebellions made people consider that Louis Riel was a villain, a madman and a traitor. Riel did do some deeds that people considered "unforgivable". But some of the deeds that he did, had a purpose behind them. Louis Riel went against the Canadian government because he was trying to help and support the Metis.
In his time, Louis Riel was the leader of two rebellions, petitioning for equality and change for the Métis people, but there is still debate on whether Louis Riel was a hero or a traitor, because of his actions during the uprisings. Louis Riel, because of the circumstances, was a hero.
In the end of the day he did everything for the Metis and I find that the big reason why he is a hero. Louis Riel should be seen as a hero because he stood up for the rights of the Metis to the Canadian government during the Red River Settlement. During
Many people hated him but he still kept moving forward and spreading awareness of the corruption and how it should be changed. If it weren’t for people like him, we might not be so fortunate to have the equal rights economically and politically that we have today. Robert La Follette made a huge impact on progressiveness of both economics and
Riel is not a traitor because the way society treated the Métis forced them to rebel. Even after one rebellion, the Métis were still deprived from their rights. Clearly, a peaceful resolution couldn’t be met. Riel is also a hero because he’s an admirable person. He has demonstrated that he’s a great leader, he’s brave, intelligent, and caring.
He freed hundreds of slaves, and eventually he tried to free as many slaves as he could with his raid on Harpers Ferry. He was tried for treason and executed, but his actions led to the abolishment of slavery. His place as a criminal or hero is still debated today, but several people want to settle the debate. Captain John Brown was a hero because he had support from several high ranking members of society, committees formed several acts to support his actions, and he freed many slaves throughout his work.
Some people hailed him as a hero or martyr who sacrificed his life for a noble cause. They admired his courage and commitment to the abolitionist movement. They saw him as a prophet and a liberator who acted on behalf of God and humanity. They also regarded his raid as a turning point in the history of slavery and the nation, as it provoked a strong reaction from both the North and the South. Other people denounced him as a terrorist or villain who used violence and terror to achieve his goals.
In 1859 John Brown and his followers stormed and attacked Harper Ferry and tried to steal guns to start a slave revolt. Some people think that John Brown was a hero because he saved many slaves; others believe that he is a villain because of the number of people he killed. Many people think that John Brown is a hero because he saved slaves, but they don’t know what else he did and how many people he killed. John Brown was a villain because he killed many people, and kidnapped people. You can expect to be sentenced to death if you are accused of treason.
He had intended to start a rebellion against the government. “I would storm Harpers Ferry where I was then captured then later hanged for treason” (Brown Document C) This proves he's a villain because he had committed treason which is one of the biggest rules he could break. He also attacked Harpers Ferry to try and kill the government, with hundreds of slaves giving them each pike to help kill. He could have been seen as a hero because he freed slaves and was the only one trying to do something about slaves.

The North American Free Trade Agreement has strengths and weaknesses. The creation of NAFTA strengthened the rules and procedures of investments and trade resulting in economic growth and higher standards of life in Canada, Mexico, and the United States. Many countries already had free trade at the time, but what NAFTA did was impose actual regulations and strengthen the rules of trade. NAFTA came into effect in 1994, well over 20 years ago. Like any good thing, NAFTA needs to be adjusted throughout time to conform with societal changes.
