Have you ever read Little Women by Louisa May Alcott? Do you know who Louisa May Alcott is? Louisa May Alcott is a famous author who has written many books over her lifetime. Before writing books all authors have a job or family life and, Louisa had one too. Although Louisa May Alcott was a famous author, she did other things for a living.
Before Louisa May Alcott wrote books she lived a life just like us! Louisa May Alcott was born on, her father's birthday, November 29, 1832, in Germantown, Pennsylvania. She was the second daughter out of four daughters. Her dad was a teacher at a school, so he taught Louisa. She also casually studies with her friends until, 1848 when she began to work. She had to find any job possible to support her family like, a domestic servant and teacher. In 1888 she died on March 6, two days after her father, from a stroke after having symptoms for years. Louisa May Alcott had a wonderful life with writing and with family.

Louisa wrote over 30 books over her entire lifetime including her most famous book, Little Women. In Little Women Louisa wrote a very important phrase that means a lot like, “I am not afraid of storms, for I am learning how to sail my ship.” and, “Love is a great beautifier.” which is also from Little Women(Alcott). Also in her books, she wrote helpful advice like, “Because they are mean is no reason why I should be. I hate such things, and though I think I have a right to be hurt, I don't intend to show it. (Amy March).” and this one, “Love Jo all your days, if you choose, but don't let it spoil you, for it's wicked to throw away so many good gifts because you can't have the one you want(Alcott).” Louisa wrote many books, but this is just her most famous
