In reference to book qualities, this story was very descriptive in its writing style. I found myself picturing various scenes such as when Ralph transported to the 12th Dimension for the first time using his Ralpholator and saw Joe Mode’s manager. While reading this scene, I could picture Mary Ellen Krabofski as a big, green troll. The narrative writing style present was very creative. In particular, the narrative allowed for problems that came about when Joe Mode tried to be like Lucy Storm and to be solved with solutions found by Ralph watching Lucy in the 12th Dimension.

This would allow him to portray the important of looking at every aspect of life as it could end at anytime Throughout the book anyone can pick up one of the important theme in this book, which is Man vs Nature.

One is surrounded by media and messages feigning “the perfect life” which begin to consume one’s thoughts with “what if’s” or “if only’s”. Throughout Grealy’s accounts of her battle with cancer, bullies, and her self-esteem, readers get a raw, painful, yet incredibly relatable look into the elements that can contribute to self-image.
