The Tragedy of Macbeth is a well known story that revolves around the word “ambition” but this ambition isn’t always self driven by someone, but rather through the influence of someone else who maintains control of the situation. The story is about a man whose desire to be the king and have power leads to the murders of those who might stand in his way. Throughout the story we see many characters who play major parts in how one event follows another, and how some characters seem to completely have control of the events in the story. Although in Macbeth the Three Sisters and Macbeth exhibit some control over the events, Lady Macbeth has the most responsibility.
As humans, the power to control is one of the most dominant feelings that ignores the harm it can cause others. The greed for more power brings out the selfish and merciless side of someone, leading them to their eventual downfall and the destruction of everyone around them. In the play Macbeth, by William Shakespeare, the story begins with Macbeth, who is King of Glamis, and Banquo, King of Lochaber, meeting with the Three Weird Sisters to hear a prophecy they foretell. Macbeth learns he will be crowned King of Scotland and the idea of him becoming king slowly consumes him, becoming his focus throughout the play. For them to control the throne, Macbeth and his wife form plans to kill everyone and anyone in their way, starting with King Duncan

While external factors such as social pressure, cultural norms, and personal circumstances can influence us, ultimately, we have agency in choosing how we respond to those factors. This is portrayed through William Shakespeare's tragedy, Macbeth, the titular character Macbeth is the protagonist, a Scottish general who receives a prophecy from three witches that he will become king. Consumed by ambition and spurred on by his wife, Lady Macbeth, Macbeth murders King Duncan and takes the throne for himself. The Mackers family. An extremely genderless couple. Both of them are greatly unsteriotypical and both seem to not care which sex they even are! Lady Macbeth has no steriotypes whatsoever, helped by her gender and HATES being a women. Mackers is similiar, except his gender hurts him more than helps.
Throughout life, most people have the chance to make their own decisions. With these decisions, there will either be good or bad outcomes. In the case of Shakespeare’s Macbeth, these decisions lead to a very grave consequence; a tragedy. The main character in the play, aptly named Macbeth, makes some choices that do not match with the morals of mankind.
The scene Act 3 scene 2, conveys the theme that killing someone isn't the most proficient way in dealing with problems nor does it make life simpler, instead it creates more complications. Ironically, In this scene Lady Macbeth and Macbeth discuss the death of Banquo; both of them begin to show signs of fear & guilt. Both of them realize the troubles that come with killing Banquo, and recognize that troubles follow; his son Fleance can still cease the prophecy. This is demonstrated in the metaphorical quote “We have scorched the snake, not killed it.” Macbeth refers to Banquo as a snake, who has not yet been killed and is still able to “attack” them.
Macbeth as Tragedy Macbeth was a man that had many fault in his character, he was very ambitious and over confident. The beginning of Macbeth, Macbeth did not act like this he was a noble kinsman to the king and very loyal to him. After the witches told Macbeth that he would one day be king, he started changing. Macbeth is a tragedy in term of Aristotle’s criteria, by how Macbeth was noble by birth and by action, his limitations of knowledge, tragic flaws, and his understandings of how he fell. The supernatural powers, or the witches, tell Macbeth and Banquo many things, and they think they may not come true, but whatever a supernatural power says is going to happen, happens no matter what.
Shakespeare’s Macbeth Essay Sometimes people have a goal and they won’t stop until that path is achieved. In the play Macbeth by Shakespeare it has positive and negative outcomes, when it comes to how Macbeth proceeds his life in such negative term transforming him into this man he wasn’t before. Shakespeare’s message about right vs wrong leads to the downward spiral of an individual. In the beginning of the play, Macbeth was working towards the king title, even if that led to a downward spiral in his life. Macbeth and Lady Macbeth went with a plan to kill his best friend Duncan, with courage to sticking with that plan / and: “when Duncan is asleep (whereto the rather shall his day’s hard journey soundly invite him)”.
The downfall in the life of Macbeth is all his own fault despite the influence from Lady Macbeth and the three witches. As shown at the start of the play, Macbeth is a courageous warrior who won the battle for Scotland. With the impact of the three witches, Macbeth was fallen into deep, dark thoughts. Macbeth led himself to the downfall of his life. He was the hero, who fought in the war between Scotland and Norwegians and gain victory but eventually turned into a tragic hero.
Ambition has a major role in the play Macbeth. One of the main things for a character such as Macbeth. Ambition lead him to commit the murder of Duncan, and losing Everything he had. In the beginning of the play Macbeth celebrated as he was brave soldier as he rewarded. He becomes the thane of Coward, as predicted by the three witches.

The play started with very intense music and a narrative that brought chills to my spine and made my hair stand up. The entrance of the actors was also followed by intense sound effects. When the actors started with their dialogues, it was amazing.
Human nature refers to specific characteristics which are ways of emotions, thoughts, and actions. Culture is big influence for human nature. In Act five of the play “Macbeth” his human nature is influenced from Lady Macbeth, and his desperation of becoming king. His human nature is shown when he finally faces his consequences. For example, when Macduff was looking for Macbeth, Macbeth could not face him because he would have to accept the consequences for murdering his whole castle.

William Shakespeare’s play Macbeth, the main character; Macbeth, is seen as an evil character. The play is based off of Macbeth’s decisions and his actions to become King. In the beginning Macbeth starts out as a hero in Scotland’s war with Ireland and towards the end he is transformed into a murderer. Macbeth is not wholly evil because of is heroism in the war, his love for Scotland, and because he didn’t want to kill King Duncan initially. Macbeth was brain washed by his wife and tricked into killing the King.
