Macbeth’s relationships with every character starts off great but as he starts to lose his mind many friendships are lost and every relationship he had was damaged. “My brave relative! What a worthy man!” (Shakespeare 5). This is King Duncan’s response when the Captain tells him about what Macbeth did in battle. This shows that even a king admired Macbeth and knew how loyal he was. “Even in hell you couldn’t find a devil worse than Macbeth.” (Shakespeare 161).
