During Industrialization, many big changes occurred. One major point is that products and goods became cheaper to make, and in return, cheaper for sale. Shortly after factories starting popping up in the U.S., “the production of exports outpaced import of goods, and by the late 1800s America emerged as the world’s largest industrial power” (Doc 3). Before factories, things were made by hand and took time to make. Because of the amount of time it took to produce products, people needed to sell these products at higher prices to make the business worth something.
America was left with an enormous problem after the civil war, thousands of unskilled people. But, through strategic decisions this would lead to tremendous industrial growth. Industrialization grew rapidly during the period of 1860-1900 as a result of a verity of factors .Technological advancements, monopolies, and political assistance would all contribute in making America one of the leading global powers.
With the American Industrial Revolution in full swing, the shift in society was prevalent. In the late 19th century the growth of the industry moved Americans from rural farms to factories. This shift in mass production, made production faster and cheaper. Although the United States prevailed as the powerhouse of production, it came with some sacrifices. The factory worker was unskilled and paid a low wage.
Fennec Fox Fossil record or genetic record of the Fennec Fox is currently unknown, but there have been times where scientists believed that this species were classified in a different genus called Fennecus. Scientists have found many similarities and differences in this species compared to other true foxes. Shared traits of this species include being omnivorous, male foxes marking their territory and compete for mates during mating season, and they are predators in their environment. There are also many differences, especially their distinctive bat-like ears which radiate body heat and keep them cool in their desert environment.
In 1860 through 1900 America experienced a huge period of industrial growth. This was due to 3 reasons. The first was that there was a huge tide of immigrants coming to America, second is that there was a lot of new inventions, and third being that the Civil War stimulated mass production techniques. Immigrants provided big companies with cheap labor, and lots of it. From 1880 to 1921, 23 million immigrants came to the U.S looking for work and opportunity.
The first cause of the American Industrial Revolution was the continuous bullying of America by the British. They enforced mercantilist policies, blockaded ports, and impressed sailors. Thomas Jefferson issued the Embargo Act of 1807 to restrict trade with all foreign countries, particularly Britain and France, with the goal of hurting their economy. Unfortunately the opposite occurred, America’s economy suffered instead. Without foreign trade there was high unemployment,
America began to prosper in the 1920’s because of industrial production being up, wages were rising, and the unemployment rates were low. After World War I America was the world’s leading economic power, because of all the technological changes happening in the industrial companies. Technological changes were happening in many industries, for example Henry Ford began to make his cars on an assembly line, which enabled him to sale more cars and cheaper products. America also had a lot of natural resources, oil being one of them, which is essential in cars. Oil was also very abundant so it sold for cheap prices.
The United States is a country that raised itself from nothing, and has changed, and adapted itself into one of the most successful countries in the world. The United States evolved from an agricultural society into an industrial one through advancements in technology, although not without many challenges to conquer. Yet even with scandals, problems, and death the United States has always proved strong. The transcontinental railroad was the match that set fire to the Industrial Age.
America’s manufacturing increased ten fold and between the 1860s - 1914 American became the lead manufacturer of the world. This huge increase of industries such as manufacturing, railroads, and mining led to a spike in immigration from all corners of the world. industrial immigration
With America doing so much trading with foreign countries for goods, not being able to trade hampered this tremendously. The US was forced to start manufacturers themselves, or sit back and wait for trade to re-open. American manufactures grew in result of this. When America saw that they could do it themselves, when the war was over they had more to provide for their country and more to trade to other countries. Political thoughts changed about many issues.
Following the Civil War, the United States was made up of plentiful farms and few cities. In comparison to European countries, such as England, industrialization within the US was significantly slow, and the influx of Western settlers as well as the lack of available labor predicted the country would always stay rural. However, for the subsequent forty years, production and industrialization would surge, the labor force and population would increase, and the US would soon be known as the greatest industrial nation in the world. America’s huge industrial growth from 1860 to 1900 was a result of the Republican Party’s platform and the rise of efficient machinery.

A lot of people in this world struggle in life, not just back then but currently today. Not just any people, the hispanics, chinese, russians, germans , etc. Those people wake up and hope that they can be with their families everyday. Yet they struggle with life obstacles that they have to overcome throughout their life because they play a big role in the the world too. They come into America sometimes not to start a life but to mess up others.
