Can a young girl change the world? Out of the 7.4 billion people currently living in this world, no one quite compares to the impacts and inspiration that these two completely different yet similar teenage girls have given us. Both Malala Yousafzai and Anne Frank were two very similar souls with very strong voices that have inspired many people today. They were originally just two ordinary girls who lived on opposite sides of the world and endured some of the most terrifying things you’ve ever heard. Malala and Anne Frank surely won’t ever be forgotten and their sense of shared courage, compassion and intelligence will always be remembered. They both cared for those who were less fortunate. Malala showed how much she cared for the wellbeing of others when she begged her father to help them. She wanted her father to give free places at the school he owned to the children who were less fortunate. Malala particularly wanted her father to help out the young girls since many families didn’t want to pay for their daughters education. Malala “persuaded him to give free places to a number of girls.” (Yousafzai 81). Anne also showed an immense amount of compassion towards others in her lifetime. She believed that you could never become deprived of anything by sharing what you have. ”No one has ever become poor from giving” (Anne Frank). Anne felt that no matter if you are the richest man in the world or the poorest man in the world, you should share what you have with others, because you can make a big impact in someone's life by just following that simple idea.
