Have you ever wondered how anne Diary of Anne Frank by McDougal Littell published in 1997. Story about Anne Frank and her family and friends as they hide from the Nazi’s. In Anne Frank, the lesson about optimism is “It can guide you too a happier life”. This lesson is demonstrated through Anne’s Claim about people, Mr Frank breaking up fights and Mr Frank and Anne during hanukkah.
In Anne Frank Anne writes many claims in her diary but the one that stood out to me was when she said “All people are good in heart” on page 122
On page 122 Anne says “I think everyone is good in heart”. Anne says this even know she knows what the green police are doing. She believes that deep down they are good people along with everyone else. It would be hard for her to believe this because she is exposed to all the hate in the world but she remains optimistic and that is very inspiring.

Same with Anne everyone is upset about the living conditions but Anne decides to make presents for everyone. On page 62 Ms frank changes the subject by saying “We are all here, alive. That is present enough.” As everyone is complaining about the living conditions and Ms Frank reminds everyone that they are lucky to not be at a work camp. The Van Dams are arguing with the franks about the living conditions and overall complaining. Anne decides to lighten the mood and she gives everyone presents. On page 62 Anne runs out of the room and goes into her room and comes out with presents and she says “Presents!” After everyone was arguing about the living conditions Anne makes the best of it and makes presents for everybody. She keeps her mind of the negative and tries too make everyone happy by giving them presents so Anne is remaining positive and
