In the end, books can change the overall spectrum of experience for anyone trying to become educated by themselves with no source of educational background. The idea Malcolm X had towards books was the nuclear option of the opportunity of learning anything you would want with no source of persecution, and this was what he was trying to express with the virtue he had with going to prison. He states with all the time he had lasted in a hostile place like a prison, in the end, this was what actually what gave him the chance to have more time to read books. It was well described with how he expressed the idea of the freedom he had mentally in his inner self even though he was physically lock up (Matuschek).
