During Macroeconomics, we have learned many different things about how the economics process works. In unit 2 of our class, we have learned about the topics of labor and unemployment, price level topics, and begin understanding the national income accounting process. In the article “Male Nurses Make More Money” by Ben Casselman, the topics of how we can relate to such topics in unit 2 are shown. In the article, Casselman discusses how men have made up “close to 10% of all registered nurses in 2011”. That may not sound like a big percentage, but the fact that it was only 3% in 1970 and about 8% in 2000 shows how big the male nurse population has increased.
