My quote is by Margaret Mead, which states the following: “Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has”. I choose this particular quote because, I feel that it is up to everybody to have an impact on how the world can change, in order to be a better place to live. People working together can get a lot accomplish, whereas people not working together cannot accomplish a lot.
One person speaking out or doing a good deed can impact others who doubt themselves.

My second quote choice is “Confidence is going after Moby Dick in a rowboat and taking the tartar sauce with you”. I choose this quote because I believe it takes confidence to achieve your goals. It took me awhile to understand the significance of Moby Dick the whale and tartar sauce. A person has to have confidence to know he is going to caught that big fish and he is prepared to eat him with the tartar sauce.
I remember watching the Oprah Winfrey show and she stated that she always knew that she was going to be a millionaire by a certain age, I think it was thirty something. Now, Oprah Winfrey is one of the richest women in the world.
I always knew that I would go back to school to pursue my Associate’s Degree. I have passed the all my courses with good grades. I will graduate in May of 2017.
