The Mirabal sisters are three revolutionaries, who were greatly involved in the overthrow of Rafael Trujillo, the dreadful dictator in the Dominican Republic. These courageous sisters at a young age observed countless flaws in Trujillo's regime, including his overpowering nature and the establishment of numerous unjust reforms. Moreover, the Mirabals recognised that it was their obligation to assist and support this revolution in order to terminate this terrible regime, so the sisters immersed themselves into the revolution becoming, Las Mariposas. After this situation, Abelard was threatened by Trujillo brutally. Abelard was convicted to be in prison for 18 years while his wife, Socorro, was pregnant his third child, Beli, who became mother of Oscar and Lola. Socorro dead from car accident but Beli survived. Jackie and her sister, Astrid, were separated and adopted by their relatives, but finally they dead. Jackie found drown in a pool and still don’t know why she did that because she got accepted from school of medicine in France and about to leave.

Selena ran out the room, and ran all the way to the lobby to get help from the front desk. Selena collapsed, and was pronounced dead at the scene. Selena died on March 31st, 1995 at 11:48am.

Obviously Yolanda wouldn 't admit to it right away. In a panic, knowing that she was found, Yolanda met with Selena and ended up shooting her in the back. The accident became fatal and Selena passed away.
