Women are powerful human beings. In the world of music, there has always been influential women. Women have created a milestone for the future generations. Without women stepping out of their comfort zone, being brave and tough, would they have come this far? These three women are my musical inspirations regardless of their past; they show musicality from the 20th century to the 21st century.
Mariah Carey is an American singer, songwriter and producer. She began performing with rising pop singer Brenda Starr. At one gala, she performed at with Starr, she handed her demo to the head of Columbia Records. After listening to her demo, this jumpstarted her musical career. He immediately signed her and began plotting out her career. Because of this, she has accumulated copious awards such the Grammy’s, Billboard, World Music Awards and many more. She is considered the second most successful female artist in the history of Billboard. Also in her honor, she was award a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Her vocal capabilities have influenced many people around the world including the music industry.
