This case happened on June 19, 1961. The case was about police breaking into Dollree Mapp 's home in Cleveland, Ohio without a proper search warrant. There had been information given that a suspect in a bombing case, as well as some illegal bombing equipment might be found at her home. With this information police decided to go to the house and ask permission to enter, when Mapp refused to let them in, three hours later two of the officers came back with more officers holding a piece of paper, they broke down the door. Police found nothing when they raided the house besides a suitcase full of pornographic material.
I responded to 106 Wildridge Road in reference to a civil complaint. Upon arrival, I spoke with Mark and Anna Sanders. Both subjects advised that they paid David Sasser $350.00 dollars to build their son a bunk bed. They advised that Sasser told them that he spent all the money and didn’t buy any supplies. Mark then agreed that he would take Sasser to get the wood that he need, and pay for it.

I believe everyone on this email thread was aware of my meeting today with Joe Baldwin, Guardian, of Kathy Rennich to discuss her recent return from inpatient rehabilitation at a local nursing facility and her expressed desire to move to the Hensgen Home. Basically, in February 2017, Kathy fell resulting in a fractured tail bone. She received inpatient rehabilitation at Care Springs for fourteen days and has returned home with PT services. Since her return home, Kathy has refused to participate in ADL’s (which isn’t a change in pattern as she refused prior to the nf stay) and is demanding that she have the opportunity to live at the Hensgen Home. Kathy’s reasoning behind wanting to move the Hengsen Home isn’t exactly clear to the team.

From 1945- 1960, America’s economy saw the emergence of large shopping areas with wide variety of food products which ultimately changed the way consuming took place in the country. Furthermore, Housing became easily accessible and affordable due to the low housing costs and the rise of middle class. Moreover, the government took the initiative of building new roads to link every major town in the country and to also open up places that were initially inaccessible. On top of it, the government built new schools that sought to increase the literacy levels of the citizens. Within this time frame, military spending almost tripled from $10billion/year to $98billion/year.

Every person has their own definition of home. In the story “The Round Walls of Home,” Dianne Ackerman is saying her home is the earth. She uses the word “round” because the earth does not have walls like normal homes, but the walls are the outside of the earth, making it round in shape. When most people describe their home they would mention the color of the walls, what sorts of belongings, and how many rooms. But, Ackerman describes her home as a, “big, beautiful, blue, wet ball.”
Though Fred Wilson specializes in creating works of art that represent his perception of American history and American society as a whole, Wilson’s Drip Drop Plop came into creation as a representation, primarily, of Americas repetitive racial history against African Americans. When Fred Wilson was asked to be the American representative at the Venice Biennale, Wilson thought that it would be best to incorporate glass unto his work, something that Venice is well familiarized with, taking in mind that it is a city generally known for its glass manufacturing. The medium which Fred Wilson chose consisted of black glass shaped in the form of droplets and puddles. He chose to work particularly with black glass for his display as a representation
Secure Dwellings: Rejoicing in Hope Secure Dwellings continues to assist homeless children and their female caregivers throughout the state of Alabama and surrounding states. The program is currently serving 10 mothers and 22 children as of this board meeting date. I often wonder how they able to continue live with all of the unfortunate circumstances and experiences that have cause their lives to be in disarray, some situations due to poor choices and sometimes due to no fault of their own. The more I ponder that question the following scripture came to mind, “Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.”
On Sunday 01/28/2018 at approximately 0146 I Officer A. Rodriguez #217 was dispatched to Momentum Village apartment #10106 (located at 7037 Islander Way Corpus Christi, Texas 78412 which is a part of Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi) about an individual that was in apartment 10106 D not a roommate or an invited guest. Upon arrival I activated body camera #3 and knock on the door. An individual by the name of Christopher Potter (student/resident/reporting party) answered the door stating that he heard noise coming from his roommate 's room which is out of town. Potter had called his roommate (later identified as Michael Westerdale (student/resident) via phone to check if it was him which Westerdale told him no and that no one was allowed in his room. Potter stated that there is an individual in
Esperanza’s house on Mango Street is not the house she dreamed on when she lived on Loomis Street, not the kind of house her parent’s talked about, not the house she wanted. Her house on Mango Street is a small, red house with even smaller stairs leading to the door. The brick are falling out of place and to get inside, one must shove the door, swollen like Esperanza’s feet in later vignettes, open. Once inside, where you are never very far from someone else, there are small hallway stairs that lead to the only one shared bedroom and bathroom. This house is just, “For the time being,”[5] Esperanza claims, for this is nothing like the house she longs for.
The pueblo architecture, developed by the Anasazi is an improvement on the architecture that is known to be around at the time. Such buildings, most notably carved into cliff faces, were designed to be simple homes with the use of adobe to make bricks upon which the architectural feat of the buildings relied on for their structure. The use of adobe in the pueblos themselves was also an improvement in the previous version of the Anasazi style homes that included a simple kiva, an underground room
