Selena Quintanilla’s greatest contribution were improving the Latin music industry by creating unique Tejano beats and bringing joy to the Latino community with her songs. Selena Quintanilla first started her career at a young age in her father's band “Los Dinos”. Los Dinos performed in a variety of events like weddings and parties. Los Dinos became known around the city , Selena Quintanilla's father dropped Selena out of school to continue to perform with the band.
Eunice Kennedy Shriver A role model is a person who you look up to. A person that you want to follow the footsteps in. Eunice kennedy Shriver should be the top role model because she believed in justice, she was humble and kind, and she was very helpful to strangers that were in need. Many outstanding role models display a strength of great leadership. In more recent years, more women have become leaders and not just men. An example of a recent woman pioneer is Aly Raisman. Aly Raisman was part of the first American women’s gymnastics team to win a team gold medal at the Olympics in more than twenty years. Kerri demonstrated determination by fighting off excruciating pain to achieve a goal, while, Tracy showed determination by working hard everyday in the most depressing and physically challenging jobs. Kerri showed selflessness by sacrificing her health for the good of her team, while Tracy showed selflessness by putting her patient's health before her own and risking everything to save others. She says that it is good to have big goals, but you also need to have achievable goals. An example of an achievable goal would be to get a hit that gets you on the base in a game. An example of a big goal would be to play division one softball.
In March of 1944, 14 year old George Stinney Jr. was arrested for the murder of two girls who were found brutally beaten to death. Stinney was arrested for these murders with no parents present, allegations of police brutality were used against him, and in the end they truly needed someone to blame for these murders. George Stinney Jr. had no chance of ever seeing the outside world, with him being African- American and the two victims being caucasian, he was the best scapegoat for this case. Stinney Jr. was later prosecuted for the murders of these two women, in less than 10 minutes, and then was out to death in June later that year. It was not until 70 years later that Stinney was later exonerated for these murders.

The first scene showed the aftermath of the death marches, and all of the bodies of the women who lost their lives.
