Martha, Martha is a story written by British author zadie smith, it is a good example of the feeling of emotional turmoil. Zadie smith, born in Willesden, London, in 1975, is an english novellist known best for her novel “White teeth”, Along with many others, including the story Martha, Martha. Martha, Martha stars two characters with contrasting personalities, Pam is generally a slacker, listening to music and wearing slippers at her job, contrasting with the younger Martha, who is much quieter and more respectful and professional. Her desire to move is expressed in her saying “How long would it be before I could move in somewhere?” She was slightly rushing pam to find her a place to live, not only due to the price of the hotel. But also because she seemingly wants to start a new life away from britain, for reasons that will be expressed later. She is clearly trying hard to find a place to live, showing the (obvious) fact that she wants to permanently live in the U.S. Next are her family issues, there is a relatively large amount of evidence, though it is contained in two separate places.
