All most everyone has heard about the great American Historical figure, Martin Luther King Jr. but. Most of those people don't know how he came to be so great. His story is relatable to most of the average children today just his calling was going to heard by everyone in America and farther.How did his young years shape his beliefs and actions as an adult. Martin Luther's young childhood was much like anyone else's. His “friends” left him because of his appearance and even called him and his younger brother “Negros”. This was when his mother had told him about the great segregation in the south whitch was where they lived. In his childhood he learned his life would never be the same. Martin was never gonna let his color stop him. By the time he was in high school Martin Luther King Jr. participated in speech contest. When we went to the North for a speech contest he wrote his parents “everyone here is so nice”and “we ate at the finest restaurants”. Martin gave a speech about freedom at the High School he attended. He won multiple awards that made him eligible to qualify to go to state for contest speech.On his way home him and his Black teacher were asked to give up their chairs to Whites on a bus.
