Instead, it refers to the variety of people out there that want to do some good in the world. Everybody, at first, pictures their hero in shining armour or in some unusual getup. But, what if there is another form of heroes? A true form of a hero. A hero that is of the same selfless blood as any figure in the movies. A hero that is real. Truly. Real. Someone that anyone could reach out to and admire. These heroes aren’t uncommon. These heroes are simply ordinary people doing extraordinary things. Abraham Lincoln is a nationally known man recognized for his war efforts to keep the to-be United States together as one. He was an inspiring figure for the people of his time to take part in his movement as well as the people of the future to do what is right for everybody and not just themselves. Also, Martin Luther King Jr. was a known pacifist that wanted to make a stand for a dream. The key word is dream. This dream is so important because he never gave up on that little flame that, with the help of everybody, he could guide and feed that little flame into a bonfire of the unity. He was a hero not just because he decided to live his dream and take action, but he was compassionate towards all because he truly cared for more than himself. Although Abraham Lincoln and Martin Luther King Jr. weren’t your fighters that weren’t necessarily “willing to take up arms and fight gun to gun” people, there are many people who are inspiring and compassionate on the battlefield. Who protects America and everything it stands for? The people! But who is going to protect that? Well, the people who are inspired to protect everything we as a country care about. An ordinary person, whether they like it or not, loves super stars. They just can’t help it. Everybody`, guaranteed, has a role model or a crush that is famous. What do we get out of that? An excuse may be that the super star plays the part of a hero. But that person isn’t the hero themselves. They are just people out for fame and money and cute guys! They may represent the idea of a true hero, and even then the directors get to create the idea of that hero. People picture the heroes of movie to be beautiful or handsome. Strong and brave. Selfless and pure. The true heroes are like that, but they are just beautifully human. Mothers are ordinary people overlooked in the shadow of a lie. Like superman. Even though superman saves the world, the world doesn’t need the saving from aliens and what not. Mothers bend over backwards for the people they love and try to inspire them for the future. Mothers are heroes at heart, and that is what matters. Mulan, is also an idea of a hero. Even though she is a character of a famous film, she is an inspiration for the young generation to be like her, not like a celebrity basking in their own spotlight. Instead, she represents a humble, selfless young lady out to protect her father and prove that others, no matter if they are men or women, can help a cause.
