Malcom X is one of the greatest civil rights leaders to ever step foot on this planet. But he saw things different from others leaders like Martin Luther King Jr. He had different ideas on things that some still don’t agree on till this day. But you can’t really blame him for thinking this way. Specailly after reading his autobiography and the struggles he had to go through while growing. Which you will learn about when reading his autobiography, which was ranked as one of the top hundred books in Times Magazines. Once you read his book then you’ll understand why he thought this way and how come he seen things different from others. The purposes of author when writing this autobiography was to show how tough African Americans had in in this day in age. Especially from Malcom X point of view and struggles he had to go through from losing both his parents to being separated from his brother and sisters and most important racial problems he faced weather it was at school or living with his new foster parents. He hopped that this story would give value to his reader and make them see things the way he saw them. Which he did cause where still learning about him and the book till this day and the books been published since fifty years ago. I say this because at the beginning of the story of Malcom X I’ve notice this quote that says this “the good Christian white people” which was said from the KKK group that came to his home looking for his father. This quote is a good example for showing the structure of this story of what to have to do with racism which it does and this is only in the first paragraph of the story. So not only does this quote set out the structure of what this story is going to be about but it also shows how show how powerful, tough Malcom x is going to have to be to face these tough things like
