Mary Kay Ash was born on May 12, 1918, in Hot Wells, Texas. She was married three times in her life. Her first marriage was at the age of 17 to J. Ben. Rogers and had three children with him Richard, Marylyn, and Ben. During that time, Ash was a major for women in business, building a stable cosmetics domain. By the year of 1939, Ash worked as a door to door salesperson for Stanley Home Products, organizing parties to promote people to purchase household items. In 1945, Ash and Roger got divorced after he returned from serving in the army in World War II.
Moreover, in 1952, Ash got hired by another business called World Gift because she was making great sales at that time. Ash spent years at the organization, but she resigned in protest after seeing another man that she had trained before raised above her and received a remarkably higher pay than hers. Furthermore, she got married for the second time to a chemist who died of a heart attack in 1963, and it was only one month after they were married.
