Some people and things come in my life as blessings, others come in my life as lessons. There is some things and people in life that make me happy and excited and there are some people or things in life that make me sad or angry. Like Matilda in your book, Matilda I have friends and family who do both of these things also. I have a bunch of friends, and a lot of them are my best friends. Whenever I am going through a tough time I can always count on them being there for me. Some of the times they have been there for me is when there was a death in my family. If they could not have been there for me to talk to them, I have no clue what I would have done. Whenever I need someone to talk to I know I can rely on them. My brothers names are Michael and Matthew. I live with my parents and Matthew because Michael is married and is living with his wife. In your book, Matilda has only one sibling and it is a boy. His name is Michael also. She lives with her parents and Michael. I have had a lot of teachers because I am in 7th grade and right now I have eight different teachers each day. It would be very hard for me to just pick one favorite teacher because they have all helped me to succeed in one way or the other, and they all have been very nice. In your book, Matilda isn't as old as me so she hasn't had as many teachers as what I have had, so it is easier for her to pick her favorite teacher. Mrs. Honey is her favorite because she is very nice, and she feels that she can tell Mrs. Honey pretty much anything about her life. Yes, we can all do something that someone cannot do. It may be easier or harder for the others to do what we can or can't do. Would I call it being lucky? Would I call it magic? Well Matilda has this one very strange power.
