From the beginning of time to the present day, people of higher influence have caused both males and females alike to look to them for the way their lives should be perceived by others. Manipulation is the act of getting people to believe that what those of a higher power in society are saying is unerring. One way influential people take advantage of manipulation is through a technique called, photo manipulation. An example of photo manipulation is photoshopping. Photoshopping plays both a negative and positive influential role in the way youth feel about their body image. Corporate-owned media use this to create what they feel is the perfect body. Media use models with already close-to-flawless bodies and then utilize photoshopping afterwards to make it quintessential.
