Now a days, youth are living their lives out loud and share their whole lives with the online world. For us mothers, the thought of letting people know where you are, what you are doing, where you are eating, or the most interesting, snapping a picture of everything you eat may be a bizarre concept. While we think this is a bizarre concept, the new generation is caught up in this new digital world. In this new virtual world, getting likes on pictures, posts or comments can give them a feeling of acceptance and a sense of success. So the question many of you are asking yourself is: Is it possible that my daughter is creating a sense of body frustration or even begin to trigger negative thoughts about her body, because of the constant comparison to another’s physical image online?

Do you ever compare yourself to someone on the internet, and does that make you insecure? Have you ever felt like you were not beautiful enough?
