Personal statement for science centre – Felicity Amoateng Am currently in 3rd year studying a Medical Bioscience degree, am interested in applying for work experience at the science centre advised online of the though my Medical BioScience module leader and also through email. Wanting to further my further of becoming a microbiologist I feel that the science centre is one of the specialist laboratories that will help further my knowledge and skills, as being a category 3 laboratory site for research on air bourne or transferable viruses. It also allows the benefits from being one of the specialist laboratories for tissue culture for research and microbiology. I feel like learning new skills will increase my interest in microbiology Infection, Immunity, Inflammation and physiological medicine is what interests me as it relates and gives me a great understanding of how diseases occur and can be prevented gasps a great interest to me. After reading more about your research project, I am intrigued by the breadth of and in particular understanding factors of learning new technical skills, health and safety and housekeeping and bein a technical support.
