There are many themes running through scripture. Some of theses common themes include love, salvation/mercy, redemption, good and evil.

During this parable Jesus shows mercy towards a woman when “ She came up behind him and touched the fringe of his clothes, and immediately her haemorrhage stopped”. Jesus had noticed that someone had touched him, as he said “I noticed that power had gone out from me”. “ When the woman saw that he could not remain hidden, she came trembling; and falling down before him, she declared in the presence fall the people why she had touched him, and how she had been immediately healed. He said t her, “ Daughter, you faith has made you well; go in peace”. Jesus showed mercy towards the woman, for by talking about this infant of the crowd, the crowd would know that she was clean, which meant that she could be socially excepted and no longer a social stigma. This links to our society today, for people still cause other people to feel ashamed and be a social stigma, however just like Jesus we have people to speak up and to show them and everyone else that they are not a social stigma and are just a human being like everyone
