For those who don’t know, MGK is a famous and gifted rapper. Born in Houston, Texas; raised in Cleveland, Ohio, MGK is my favorite rapper. MGK had many people who wanted to knock his hustle. Before he became famous, he wanted to become a doctor. He was valedictorian and almost had perfect SAT scores. Because of his horrendous behavior, no colleges wanted him. He was always in and out of jail for altercations, theft, and more. Due to his denial of acceptance, Kells used his lyrically gifted talents to get people to understand him; and why he did some of things that he did. He’s one of many perfect examples, of how one can change the world.
Taking his stage name from the notorious mobster and applying it to himself for his rapid-fire lyrical flow, MGK started rapping while still in high school and quickly gained a large local following through the release of several mixtapes. He inspires many teens around the world, to never give up nor to be afraid to be themselves. Society itself puts labels on us. Kells is a prime example of how one can change the world. He uses his music to get to those who can’t stand up for themselves. He gets to the ones in screwed up homes. He gets to the ones who have physical and mental disorders.
