Michael Jackson was born on a late night in Gary, Indiana on August 29, 1958. Michael was born in the northern tip of Indiana near Chicago. The nature of Gary was best revealed in its teeming street life. Gary Indiana was known to many as sin city in the 1960’s. Raising a family those surrounding posed many challenges for Michael’s parents. (Vincent 1).
