Michael Jordan is widely regarded as the greatest basketball player of all time; his six NBA (National Basketball Association) Titles and all of his individual accolades attest to his unparalleled skill and dominance on the basketball court; he has set an unprecedented legacy that we still see today both on and off the court. While there are other basketball legends: Wilt Chamberlain and LeBron James, Jordan's impressive accomplishments set him apart.
Wilt Chamberlain was a dominant force in the NBA during the 1960s. He holds numerous records, including the most points scored in a single game (100). James has won four NBA championships and four MVP awards and has consistently been one of the league's top players throughout his career. Along with this James is the “NBA’s all-time leading scorer” (“Lebron James” 1). However, Jordan's accomplishments are simply unmatched. Jordan won six championships in eight seasons and was the Finals MVP in each of those series. Additionally, Jordan won five regular-season MVP awards, compared to James' four. Many would argue that James is the more athletic of the two, due to his “unmatched athleticism and well-muscled body” (“Lebron James” 2).
