Also, people claim there are many basketball players that are just as eligible and deserving of the coveted position. Such as Magic Johnson, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Wilt Chamberlain, and Lebron James. After all Jabbar is #1 all-time score and Chamberlain averaged in at over 50 points per game for an entire season. Although these points are very valid, Michael Jordan was exceptional all-around with impeccable defense and offense alike.
