Wilt Chamberlain is known as one of the biggest freaks of nature in not just basketball, but sports in general. Wilt tops all charts, statistics, and comical-sounding stories in life. The most famous of people look up to Wilt, and not just in a literal way. During his dominance, people disliked him for how he took the game of basketball by storm, starting as a child to the end of his career. He stirred up the basketball world as very few could. This man was impactful and unforgettable in the world of sports, This is the life of the triple-digit scorer, Wilt Chamberlain.

According to Wilt Chamberlain, Wilton Norman Chamberlain was born on August 21st, 1936, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Wilt grew up in a middle-class household with a handyman dad, a domestic worker mother, and 8 siblings. Wilt’s parents were only 5’8 and 5' 9 so to the complete bewilderment of everybody, Wilt would grow to be 6 '10 by just the age of 15. This outrageous height would help him take over Junior High School basketball. One example is Wilt Chamberlain claiming in his autobiography that he had slept with over 20,000 women, and did not get 1 sexually transmitted disease. Another example is him being extremely close friends and Arnold declaring Wilt as the strongest man alive. Wilt was inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame in 1978, and named a top 50 player of all time in 1996. Wilt was asked what his biggest accomplishment, out of the hundreds of unbelievable feats he had achieved, was never fouling out of a game. Wilt passed away due to heart failure on October 12 1999 in his Los Angeles home.
