Really? As far as i'm concerned Mickey is the one that should've had a mental or emotional breakdown considering all the bullshit he's been put through. Comparing Mickey and Ian's lives Mickey has had it way harder. He's been raped, beaten black and blue to the point he passed out, not able to express who he is as a gay man comfortably because he has a verbally and physically abusive father who would attempt to kill him. Mickey tried to walk away and then Ian puts his hands on him. Mickey tells him twice to stop touching him but Ian ignores this and then starts mocking Mickey by telling him he's not a man. Ian had it way easier in that regard. His family immediately accepted him, never judged him for it, or abused him because of it.
