The piece “Images of America”_ Scotlandville is an awesome, and distinctive book written by Rachel L Emanuel, Ruby Jean Simms, and Charles Vincent. It allows the readers to expand their knowledge on the history of Scotlandville, Louisiana which is unknown to a lot of people. The authors use pictures and passages to reveal their message. It was quite entertaining and easy to understand because one could visualize what was occurring as they read.
The period between 1815 and 1828 marked a significant era in American history, characterized by the rise of political parties and factions that greatly influenced the nation's development. To understand this topic, the source "What Hath God Wrought: The Transformation of America, 1815-1848" by Daniel Walker Howe will serve as the reference. Political Parties and Factions in the Post-War Era had some to evolve to meet the new political landscape of this period. For example, the Democratic-Republican Party emerged as a dominant force in American politics under the presidency of James Monroe. Monroe's presidency, spanning from 1817 to 1825, saw the Democratic-Republicans firmly in control, with their strict constructionist interpretation of the
How can improvements be made without the people who want the improvements don’t make an effort? Giving American citizens the responsibility to improve their own lives may cause setbacks, but it is the outcome of these setbacks that enable change and allow further quality of life. Without American citizens taking initiative to improve their own lives, they will be never be satisfied with the quality of their own lives. Many improvements in this world such as freedom and rights were not established through citizens counting on authority to make this change. It was the people who were affected by this dilemma that took action that ended up giving a new meaning to life.
Why were there so many European citizens migrating to the East Coast of North America during the 18th century? During the mid 17th century, a majority of the East Coast, in North America, was controlled by the British Empire. Although there were problems with ownership of property and slavery in the East Coast, a more prominent issue occurred in 1691, in Salem, Massachusetts. The accusations of being a witch spread like wildfire, which caused the Salem witch trials. The Salem witch trials deemed whether a person was guilty or not guilty of committing witchcraftery.
As in any class worth taking I expect there to be challenges when dealing with the course material
A book that I recently read that showed a reflection of my self-understanding was Missoula by Jon Krakauer because it extended my perspective on women’s safety on college campuses. The book Missoula shares stories of five women who were sexually assaulted at the University of Montana, Missoula and follows their cases all the way to trial. As a girl who has always been told that a college education is necessary to succeed in life, the idea that colleges arent safe for me felt like a secret that I wasnt allowed to know until I experienced it for myself. Reading the statistics and seeing how all of the rapists walked away unpunished strengthened my understanding of the fact that sexual assault is a normal occurance on college campuses.
The main thing that I would need to say that truly took me for a moment to handle was this the genuine coursework in the real program itself understanding that you need to make the post on time. That you needed to respond to your classmates the way the instructor needs you to react. Earlier on I easily overlooked details like that, but they offer me some assistance with backing in the very begin . What do you wish you had got word that you didn't figure out? I don't generally know how to answer that question on the grounds that I took in a ton and you would prefer not to be excessively overpowered however I truly have taken in an awesome arrangement of knowledge.
When you ask your teacher for the work , they say it was up to you to get the work and you are too late for it. Your teacher then says to be prepared for the big test tomorrow. What do you think of when you think of the land of America? John Winthrop once compared America to “A city on a Hill” (Artifact 1) Not only do Americans often have a superior attitude towards our neighboring countries, whether that attitude of superiority is righteous or not is in a way up to the eyes of the beholder, but other countries look up metaphorically to the light we shine and want to be included in our secrets. If America were a party, they would crave an invitation. They want to participate in the masterpiece which is the land of the free and the home of the brave. For as long as our country has been around it has been more than just a beautiful location to visit on vacations, it has almost in itself taken the identity of an idea.

I’m really not good with advanced math. Simple math comes easy to me, and I can usually beat the calculator with the answer. However, when it comes to algebra and more advanced math courses, I struggle immensely. When I took College Algebra 1 at my previous college, the teacher would assign one full chapter for each night of class (5 days a week), and we were expected to complete the assignments at the end of the chapters, which usually consisted of about 70 equations. When I would sit down to do the work each night, I always got a headache.
I had my first official coding class last year, and I learned more than i thought i ever would. I was fortunate enough to have some friends as classmates, and be able to talk to them about the projects we had to complete. Being a freshman who has had no prior experience to coding, in a class full of people who have at least an idea of what methods, parameters, and booleans were made me feel inadequate. I tried my best to pretend like I was doing fine in the class, and that it was really easy, I was just taking my time to work on other things. But in reality, I struggled a lot.
I have understood the material more as I studied out of the text book. This has also helped me take effective notes. With this most recent score on my exam I had a push to keep going and
