-Act 1: Duke Theseus tells Hermia that she has to marry Demetrius. However, she is actually in love with Lysander. She is told she has to marry the man her father chooses her to or she will have to become a nun, or she will die. Meanwhile, Peter Quince is putting on a play and the cast is having a problem choosing who will play who.
-Act 2: King Oberon and Queen Titania rule over all the fairies. They start fighting over a human boy and this leads to nature’s seasons to be disrupted. Then King Oberon sends his fairy Puck to get a flower infused with a love potion. Whoever the potion is used on, when they wake up the first person they see is who they fall deeply in love with. Oberon then uses the flower on Titania while she is sleeping. Puck then put the love potion in Lysander’s eyes because he mistakes him for Demetrius. Helena sees Lysander and wakes him up and he then falls in love with her. …show more content…

Puck sees Bottom rehearsing and he transforms him into a donkey’s head. Bottom comes back to the men rehearsing and they are terrified of him and they run off. Titania then wakes and sees Bottom, and she then becomes madly in love with him. Puck tries to fix his mistake by giving Demetrius the love potion. However, things go wrong and both Demetrius and Lysander end up loving Helena. Helena thinks they are mocking her and then Hermia blames Helena for steeling her true love.
