There are many achievements I had in my life that I accomplished, However, none of them compare to me then the U.S. Army Basic Combat Training. In Basic Combat Training I was put in a whole new experience, like meeting people around the world, first time away from home, new types of weather, new gear and equipment and so on. I’ve heard stories about how I shouldn’t do it, and others about how I’m making a mistake on joining in the first place or others who said I couldn't make it and made jokes about me however, I was ready, and determined. I believe most strengths are found on the obstacle courses, when I had to run, coordinate, use my strength, sense of balance, and team work all at the same time with in 10 minutes or even 30 minutes. I learned that my strengths were teamwork, and listening, these were really handy when cretin challenges required 2 people like carrying large logs or helping people up a 4 story wall. Another way on how listening skills worked out for me was, I was always in the right place at the right time, in the right uniform which is a big deal when in the Army. Although many would argue, but I believed that listening skills were most important ,especially in combat situations. I learned how the breathe properly and with that I became good at running or just physical activity in many ways. I learned to always reach for my goals even when they seem impossible , when your face is literally in mud always get up and try some more . My Drill Sergeant taught me a quote “In the womb of winter summer seems a myth” witch means some times certain things seem impossible but it will change. However I can also see this not being good for some people because some wont try after they see they cant do everything, for me that was the best part because I learned what to work on ,and how to achieve. Some people would say its easy I can do it with my eyes shut and im sure they can however for me a lazy guy that never really did anything it was amazing.The U.S. Army was very challenging for me I have learned far more in it than I have learned anywhere else I discovered a lot about me and for that reason alone it was a overwhelming achievement for me, And I'm glad I passed it with flying colors achieved most of the ribbons and had met some of the best people in my
